Common HTML Color Codes


The anatomy of these hexadecimal codes:
#ffffff The first two numbers 0-255(decimal) or 0-ff(hexadecimal) are how much Red Light there is. The middle two numbers (0-255) are for Green. The last two numbers are for Blue. By mixing how much of each color is used, we can make millions of different colors. High numbers mean lots of light is made, low numbers mean little light is made. You probably shouldn't memorize many colors, but by knowing this you can guess what color matches what code.
